Keystone
Games Results
On August 7,2004, the 2004 Keystone State Games were held in Wilkes-Barre,
Pennsylvania. Grandmaster Joe Brague, Director of Goshin Jutsu Karate,
USA, received an award for his support and carrying on the tradition
of the Martial Arts from Grandmaster James Martin. Master George
Bierman won three gold medals in weapons, kata and kumite. He also
won a bronze in team kumite and received a plack for the most outstanding
male athlete in karate at the Keystone Games. All were in the black
belt division. Paula Schall won a gold in weapons and two silvers
in kata and kumite in the women’s black belt division. Gary
Stebbins won a gold in kata, silver in weapons and a bronze in team
kumite in the black belt division. Jerry French won a gold in weapons,
silver in kata and kumite and a bronze in team kumite in the black
belt division.
Bryant Brown captured silver in kumite in the brown belt division.
Taylor Robleski received two gold’s in kata and kumite in
the purple belt division. Joe Brague, Jr. won a gold in kumite in
the green belt division. Cody Miller won three gold’s in the
children’s purple belt division in weapons, kata and kumite.
Bill Lundy captured a bronze in weapons and a bronze in team kumite
in the yellow belt division. Melissa Hall received an honorable
mention in the women’s 14-year-old brown belt division.
