Goshin Justu Karate won the “Most
Supportive School” trophy at Lenny Youngs Karate
Tournament in Bellfonte, Pa on April 24th. Master Clair Black
accepted this trophy for his school in Dushore, Pa. There were
over 200 competitors that day.Goshin also received the “Most
Points” trophy for the school with the most winning
points in all combined events which was accepted by Master Michele
Brague.

results:
On Sat. Feb. 28th the Mifflin Co. Karate
Classic was held in Lewistown, Pa. Jerry French captured 1st in
Weapons, a 1st Kumite, a 2nd in Forms. He was Grand Champion in
Black Belt Kumite. Bryant Brown took 2nd in Forms and 3rd in Kumite
in the Brown Belt Division. William Lundy took 1st in Forms , 1st
Kumite, a 2nd in Weapons in the Mens Yellow Belt Division. Cody
Miller took 1st in Weapons, 1st in Forms and a 3rd in Kumite in
Childrens Purple Belt Division. Carolyn Seachrist placed 1st in
Weapons and 1st in Forms in 35-40 Womens Black Belt Division. Ben
Seachrist received an honorable mention in Childrens's Division.
On Sunday March 7th The Spring Coal Kickin' KArate Tournament was
held in Tamaqua, Pa. Cody Miller captured 2nd in Weapons and a 2nd
in Forms in Childrens Purple Belt Division.
On Sat. April 3rd the Central Pa Open Martial Arts Championship
was held in State College, Pa. Jerry French placed 1st in Forms,
2nd in Weapons and 3rd in Kumite. He also won Grand Champion in
Black Belt Forms. William Lundy placed first in Team Kumite and
2nd in Forms and a 2nd in Weapons in the Men's Yellow Belt Divison.
Cody Miller captured a 1st in Forms, 2nd in Weapons and a 2nd in
Forms in the Childrens Purple Belt Divison.
