On Saturday 7/29/06 the Keystone Games were held in York, Pennsylvania.
Master George Bierman captured three Gold medals in weapons, kata
and kumite. All in the Masters Black Belt division. He also took
a Silver in Team Kumite. Master Jerry French won three Gold's medals
in weapons, kata and kumite and a Silver in Team kumite in the Elite
Black Belt division. Master Paula Pulizzil captured two Gold medals
in weapons and kata in the Women's Senior Black Belt division. Rachel
Metzger won three Gold medals in the Junior Black Belt division
in weapons, kata and kumite. Bryant Brown took two Gold medals in
weapons and kata in the 18-20 Mens Black Belt division. Joe Brague,
Jr won a Silver medal in the Men's Brown Belt division in kumite.
Taylor Robleski won two Gold medals in kata and kumite in the Men's
Brown Belt division. Cody Miller won a Gold medal in kata and a
Silver in weapons in the 10 year old Brown Belt division. All students
were from the Goshin Jutsu karate school under Grand Master Joe
Brague in Williamsport.
Students from Black's dojo competed : Kira McGroarty won a Bronze
medal in 13 - 15 year old Advanced Female Forms competition. Zoraya
captured 2 medals in 10-12 Advanced Female Division: Bronze in Weapons
Forms and a Silver in Sparring. Instructors are Master Karen and
Master Clair Black of Dushore, Pa.
